Gladys N Jusino Leon obtained her bachelor’s in nursing (BSN) from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico (PCUPR) in 1982 and a master’s in nursing (MSN) with a concentration on Nurse Educator from Capella University in 2012. The thesis focused on Ethical Practice in Nursing.
She completed a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) in 2018 after implementing a quality improvement project in a hematology/oncology unit with excellent results (Find the results here: CJON 2019, 23(2), E32-E38. She has a medical and surgical nursing certification (CMSRN) from the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nursing (AMSN) and a gerontological nursing certification (GERO-BC) from the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC).
In 2023, she completed dementia training, becoming a certified trainer for the Virtual Dementia Tour created by Second Wind Dreams. The CEO is a nursing professional with extensive experience developing and delivering healthcare education and training, especially for clinical professionals and those in nursing and allied health professions.
